I know, I know it's been a while since I have blogged. I have been reading all your blogs, but when it comes to writing my own.... I just feel I lack the adventure, the excitement, the comedy. Don't get me wrong I do have those moments of comic excitement or the thrilling adventure...I'm a Hancock for Pete's sake I live for adventure! It's just that lately the adventure has had to take a back seat to reality. I was called to be 2
nd councilor in the Relief Society for our Branch... that's right F.H.P.E. Needless to say I NEED HELP!!!!! I need ideas! I need a vacation! Phillip was called to be 1st councilor in the Elders Quorum along with being the branch Clerk. He is also a full time student so WE and I emphasize WE are always doing homework. I guess it pays off to do your homework since he is on the Presidents list!!! Way to go Phillip!!!!! I wonder what it is like to get all A's in college? He may be on the Presidents list but I guarantee that I had more fun. Well this has been fun but I need to save some blogging for the next time. Below are some pictures of some of the adventure I've had in the past year or so.

This may be one of the most exciting moments in my dad's life... next to the day that I was born! Some back ground to this picture.... My parents live on 65 acres with 4 ponds on their land 2 of which are stocked with fish. Their back fence is shared by an exotic animal farm that breeds and raises lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my! along with some other flesh eating animals like the crocodile that was in our pond that we fish, and boat (the rowing kind) in. Now alligators are native to the south east part of Oklahoma so it's not common but they (meaning alligators) have been know to swim up the river to the more central part of Oklahoma.... but we are not talking about an alligator we are talking about a man eating crocodile... okay so this one didn't dine on any human but it is still a crocodile native to Africa..I think! So naturally it is safe to assume that it came from the animal farm, who denied the escape of the ancient reptile. Well after a few days of watching and feeding the big lizard my parents wanted it out of their pond. so with the help of a few people the
croc wrestling began. It took them all day to catch it but in the end there were a few exciting moments. I think you can now visits boots (my dad's nick name) at the Oklahoma City Zoo alive and happy.

This is us at Delicate Arch. Can I just say the elevation makes a HUGE difference!!! I made it to the top, I only passed out once, just kidding.

This is at Eureka Springs.....reminds me, a little, of Park City. We had so much fun I can't wait to go on our next vacation.
